About Team Whiteout

Whiteout Racing Kennel strives to stand for honest and quality dog care, breeding, and racing.

Here at Whiteout Racing Kennel, everything is run based on what is best for the dogs, and we take great pride in our athletes and their care!

Creating an environment our dogs can thrive in is what our system is built around. From how the dogs are trained, how the kennel is set up, how we feed, and how we interact with the dogs. When we are not on the trail, our dogs spend a good portion of their time loose together either in large pens, or in the house yard and inside. They can interact with each other and their environment, creating a strong bond with their pack mates, and also with us. It has a significant impact on recovery time as well, and allows them to stretch their muscles properly between training runs.

Our dogs also spend a fair amount of time in the house, and we follow the philosophy that its our job to ensure our dogs have the best life from start to finish. This means that when our dogs retire, they may go on to join families as active pets and hiking buddies! While we miss them dearly, this allows them to live out their (very active) golden years as the center of attention which they more than deserve.

Our breeding program is centered around temperament, work ability, and conformation. Dogs that make it into the program are proven and health tested to ensure healthy and successful future generations. We keep things small, and only breed to have future generations succeeding the dogs before them. If you are interested in learning more about our breeding, please reach out through the contact form.

We strive to be a forward thinking kennel, and are always evolving our training program and kennel to best suit our dogs and their individual needs to create the best environment for them as possible.

“Dogs first. Always.”

Presentations & Seminars

“Christina did a wonderful job presenting information about her dogs and experience as a musher in my 9th Grade English classroom as a guest speaker in our unit on The Call of the Wild. She came in well-prepared, and spoke with articulation and maturity uncommon for her age that most certainly helped students engage with her presentation. Her interesting tales of adventure weren't the only thing that inspired my students; her confidence in speaking and the boldness and self-motivation she shows pursuing her passion did so as well! I highly recommend finding an excuse to have Christina present in your classroom!!! Five out of five stars."

- Cameron Alford, Teacher at Liberty Bell Highschool

Christina is available to make presentations about her sled dogs and her professional racing career. These presentations include points on leadership, teamwork, alternative learning, responsibility, motivation, and the work it takes to not only follow your dreams, but go after them with all you have. If you would like to have her and one of her teammates come to your school or event to speak, please don't hesitate to reach out.
